We are looking for new colleagues!
If you want to work with people, influence the lives of others, and make a difference, Kinda Municipality is the place for you. Here we care about each other, and it is always close to colleagues, managers, and citizens. We are facing an exciting future and want to continue providing high-quality service to our citizens. Therefore, we want all employees to see opportunities, both in the small and the large. Here we work with our core values of forward-thinking, responsibility, and dialogue. These values guide us in our daily work, how we meet each other, and those we work for, the citizens.
What will you do in the summer of 2026? We are looking for you who are interested in summer jobs within our healthcare and social services, and also for those who have the opportunity to work already in the spring.
Your tasks
Care work is an important, fun, and developing job. You provide support and assistance to people in their daily lives. Your workday will be filled with tasks that mainly consist of providing support and service as well as care based on individual needs and goals for those we are here for. This may include supporting personal care with intimate hygiene such as body washing, showering, and toilet visits, as well as dressing and undressing. It may also involve assisting with daily chores such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, meals, lifting and transferring, medication management, rehabilitation training, and other aspects of life.
It is also about creating joy and motivation in the lives of the individuals we are here for through various activities such as walks, outings, barbecue evenings, coffee breaks, and conversations. Being able to balance goals and needs with the individual's own wishes in a dignified manner and with satisfied citizens is what we call our core values.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has an interest in working with other people and providing service. You must be at least 18 years old and want to work in Sweden's most important job. It is an advantage to have completed a high school education in healthcare and social services, child and leisure, psychiatry, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience working or having had an internship in healthcare and social services, but other experiences and education are also welcome. Since we are legally required to document our work, it is very important that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have good computer skills. In some areas, a B driver's license is also required.
As an employee with us, you are engaged, attentive, responsible, and empathetic. You act calmly and confidently, take initiative, and have good communication skills. You enjoy meeting other people and can both collaborate and work independently. It is important for us to provide you with the right conditions so that you feel secure in your professional role.
As a new substitute, you will receive an introduction plan tailored to you and the needs of the organization, as well as knowledge in transfer techniques, delegation, and documentation. We offer you a workplace with a positive work culture, and hopefully, we will be your future workplace.
